REQUIREMENTS OF NEW AND UPCOMING PV APPLICATIONS FOR MATERIAL SELECTION AND RELIABILITY ASSESSMENT
The École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne EPFL (Switzerland) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE (Germany) are proud to invite to the online version of the 2021 SOPHIA-workshop ‘PVModule Reliability’ from Neuchâtel, Switzerland. This concentrated short workshop will feature reliability aspects of innovative PV applications in service life prediction modelling, testing and standardization as well as
possibilities offered by data analytical methods to work on reliability topics.
The main topics of the upcoming workshop will be:
▪ Lightweight PV modules ightweight modules are more and more present in the market. Specific impacts on module reliability will be in the focus of this session.
▪ Crunching Big data for reliability assessment
Advanced data management and data analytical methods open new possibilities to analyze systems and module data to identify and analyze reliability issues.
